Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricksono Garcie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Williams lands an impressive looking overhand right. Garcie doesn't seem phased though.

Williams moves into the clinch.
Garcie tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Williams smiles and moves away.
Williams circles away from the clinch attempt.
Garcie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Williams pinned against the cage. Williams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Williams drops down looking for a counter takedown but Garcie sprawls and moves away.
Williams misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Garcie tries to keep at a distance but Williams has taken the fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Garcie can't get the takedown.
Johnny Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricksono Garcie.
Garcie swings wildly with an uppercut but Williams uses good head movement to avoid it.
Garcie is trying to drag Williams to the mat but Williams just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Williams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Williams moves into range and clinches up with Garcie.
Williams is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Garcie looking for a takedown.

Garcie gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Williams is trying to control but Garcie manages to pass to mount!
Williams is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Garcie is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Williams is surviving well by controlling Garcie's body position as best he can.
Garcie lands a big elbow.
Garcie looking to control but Williams is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Garcie misses with a head shot.
Garcie prevents Williams from getting the reversal.
Williams sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Garcie is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Williams is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Garcie pulls his head out easily.
Williams has hold of Garcie's hands but Garcie slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Garcie is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Garcie's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Williams is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Williams keeping moving, preventing Garcie from controlling successfully.

Garcie missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Garcie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Williams wants to sweep here but Garcie controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Garcie scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Garcie passes Williams's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Garcie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Garcie is pressing down on Williams's thigh, looking to free his foot. Williams is holding on for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Garcie lands a nice short elbow.
Williams is not content to let Garcie control the position.

Garcie seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Williams is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
