The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyka misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Volkov.

Boyka fails with an attempt to clinch.

Boyka shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Volkov's guard.
Boyka working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Boyka drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Boyka jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Volkov takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Boyka tries to bum rush Volkov with a series of wild strikes but Volkov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Boyka throws a lazy uppercut
letting Volkov counter with a right hand.
Volkov scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Boyka shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Boyka gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Volkov.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boyka moves in looking to clinch but Volkov pushes him off.
Volkov throws a head kick that misses.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Volkov, as that shot connected.

Boyka just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromVolkov.
Volkov swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Boyka.
Boyka misses with an uppercut. Volkov saw that one coming.
Volkov misses with the combination.
Volkov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Boyka manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Boyka takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Volkov tests Boyka's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Boyka moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Igor Volkov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Boyka misses with a hook. Volkov ducked under it nicely.
Volkov connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Boyka momentarily.
Boyka scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Volkov doesn't manage to clinch there - Boyka circles away.

Volkov lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Boyka at a distance.

Boyka fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Volkov to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Volkov looks to clinch but Boyka throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Volkov taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
