A frustrated look appears on Pelle's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Pelle throws a looping overhand right but Agaev ducks down to avoid it.

Agaev has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Agaev wants to clinch up but Pelle keeps it at a distance.
Agaev swings for the body but Pelle moves out of range.
Agaev wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Pelle looks winded!

Agaev drops Pelle with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pelle looks back up at him and smiles so Agaev waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
A solid body kick from Agaev.
Agaev bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Agaev fakes the leg kick and cracks Pelle in the body.
Agaev lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Pelle up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Agaev from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Pelle's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tural Agaev!
A very excited looking Tural Agaev made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
