The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones Jr throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jones Jr fails with a takedown attempt.
Jones Jr looks to land a left hand but Dog Iii moved out of range nicely.
Jones Jr misses with a takedown
and Dog Iii counters with an outside leg kick.
Dog Iii scores with a jab to the body.
Dennis Jones Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones Jr throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Jones Jr tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Dog Iii cracks Jones Jr with a right hand to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
