Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Koulouraki Souvlaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonty Underwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Souvlaki comes to the cage accompanied by Greek Anthem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jonty Underwood!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Topper Green and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Souvlaki rushes Underwood and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Underwood wants the takedown. Souvlaki is fighting it off but Underwood persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Souvlaki's guard against the cage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Souvlaki keeping moving, preventing Underwood from controlling successfully.
Souvlaki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Underwood wants to get back to full guard.
Souvlaki slips a nice elbow through Underwood's hands, connecting with Underwood's forehead.
Underwood works his way to full guard. Good work.
Underwood is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Souvlaki is working Underwood over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Underwood working for a triangle but Souvlaki defends it easily.
Souvlaki passes Underwood's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Souvlaki's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Souvlaki in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Underwood tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Souvlaki!
