Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dan Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kusi Amuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phillips's entrance music is Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amuo throws a head kick that misses.

Amuo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Phillips to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Phillips trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Phillips will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Phillips is pushing down on Amuo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Amuo is fighting to maintain full guard but Phillips has managed to sneak the leg through.

Phillips is working for a submission of some sort.
Amuo looks like he's trying to stand up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Phillips seems to be looking for submissions.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Amuo can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amuo keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Phillips is working for a kimura but Amuo is defending it quite comfortably.

Phillips is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Amuo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Phillips.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Phillips is looking to advance position but Amuo won't allow it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Phillips is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Amuo is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
