Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Soul Jah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jah comes into the arena with Bob Marley - Buffalo Soldier blaring out of the sound system. Light is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ride for This-Fabolous. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

28 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bobby Light!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Ben Hemmingworth and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Light shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jah as he jumps to the side.
Light fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jah avoids the head kick by Light.
Jah is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Light.
Light shoots in for a takedown but Jah shows good takedown defense.
Jah appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Soul Jah has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Light.
Light shoots for a takedown but Jah saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A head kick misses from Light.
It looked like Jah wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Light changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jah tries to avoid it but Light manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jah to the ground. Jah escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Jah counters with a slapping leg kick.

and Jah counters with an outside leg kick.
Light throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jah is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Light.

Light misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jah.
Jah throws a quick counter head kick but Light was just out of range.
Light with a poor takedown
and Jah counters with a head kick that drops Light to the mat! Light scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Light just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromJah.
Light throws a lazy right hand but Jah sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
We've been told by Jah's head coaches at Broken Halo's -Temple of Illumination that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Light tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Light swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jah counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Light thinking.
Light misses with a head kick.
Jah is looking to counter with a body kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Light.
Jah thinks about countering with a body kick.
Light throws a right and a left that Jah avoids nicely.
Jah was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Light misses with a combination
and Jah counters with a solid body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Light with a lazy takedown attempt
and Jah counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Light throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jah counters with a nice leg kick.
Light throws a head kick but Jah moves out of range.

and Jah counters with a leg kick.
No joy there for Light, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jah stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jah wants it to stay on the feet.
A head kick by Light misses
and Jah makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Light fails to land the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Light doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jah counters with a good low kick that Light was not able to check.
Soul Jah is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Light rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jah counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Light has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jah is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Jah landing knees to the body.
Jah slowing the pace effectively.
Light blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Jah throws a knee to the head but misses.
Light avoiding damage as Jah throws knees to the body.
Light jumps guard but Jah turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Jah is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Light on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Jah doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Jah tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Light avoids it.
Jah tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Light has Jah pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jah manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Jah breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A head kick by Light misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Light throws an off balance right hand
and Jah counters with a nice uppercut.

and Jah counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Light misses with a leg kick
and Jah holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Jah breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Light throws a lazy right hand but Jah sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Light gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jah counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Soul Jah dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Light just misses with a punch to the body.
Jah throws a big counter combination but Light scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Light fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jah quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Light shoots in but Jah avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jah fires out a quick counter leg kick but Light just manages to avoid it.
Jah is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Light can do to turn this around?

and Jah comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Light stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Jah is on him like rabid pit bull! Light slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Soul Jah!
A very excited looking Soul Jah made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
