Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Djin Dawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stipe Mikas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Djin Dawn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Stipe Mikas!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mikas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Dawn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mikas is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mikas wants to control from the top but Dawn keeps moving.
Dawn on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dawn tries to get out of the position.
Mikas is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Mikas working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Dawn throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Dawn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mikas in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mikas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dawn is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mikas defends well.

Dawn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mikas on the ground.

Mikas trying to control but Dawn is working from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Mikas keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Mikas throws a series of strikes that have Dawn backpedaling.
Dawn misses with a series of wild punches.
Dawn throws a jab but it's blocked by Mikas.
Dawn sets himself, and Mikas steps forward looking for the clinch! Dawn avoids it this time.
Mikas has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Dawn throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mikas.
Mikas wants to counter with a clinch but Dawn pushes him away.
Dawn throws a big shot that misses.
Mikas takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Dawn on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.


It looks like Djin Dawn has been cut.

Mikas closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dawn is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mikas's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mikas's back!
Dawn controlling well, preventing Mikas from escaping the position.
Dawn doesn't have the hooks in and Mikas manages to turn into his guard.
Mikas is in close to Dawn's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Dawn is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mikas is controlling him.

Dawn preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Mikas postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dawn keeping moving, preventing Mikas from controlling successfully.

Mikas sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dawn's guard.
Mikas wants to take a breather but Dawn is having none of it.
Mikas thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dawn's head.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mikas slips a nice elbow through Dawn's hands, connecting with Dawn's forehead.
Dawn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Mikas scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Dawn wants to control but Mikas is keeping busy.

Nice strikes from Mikas there.
Mikas trying to control from Dawn's half guard. Dawn has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Dawn is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Madz **21 Elite coaches** that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Mikas wants to control from the top but Dawn keeps moving.
Mikas throwing strikes but missing.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Dawn throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mikas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dawn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mikas somewhat.
Mikas takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Dawn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mikas.
A quick step to the side and Dawn tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mikas lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dawn scores with a body shot.
Dawn misses with a wild body shot.
As Dawn backs off Mikas throws a huge counter combo but Dawn manages to avoid it all.
Mikas slips a straight right by Dawn.
Mikas walks into a left hand.


It looks like Stipe Mikas has been cut.
Mikas moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Dawn wants to land a leg kick but Mikas is out of range.
Dawn scores with a jab to the jaw.


Mikas is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dawn misses with a low kick.
Mikas is still on wobbly legs! Can Dawn finish him?
Dawn throws an uppercut from hell that sends Mikas clean off his feet! He's out cold! Dawn stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Djin Dawn!
Djin Dawn decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
