The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elisterio throws a hook to the side of Morisho's head but Morisho sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Elisterio leaves Morisho with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Morisho uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Elisterio.
Morisho appears to be looking for a big counter.
Elisterio misses with a hook

and Morisho counters by clinching up.
Elisterio looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Elisterio has had enough of the clinch but Morisho keeps him there for the moment.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Morisho has his foot on Elisterio's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Elisterio works his way back into a safe position though.

Elisterio stands and steps away. Morisho gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Oooooh!!! Elisterio has knocked Morisho down with a huge combo! Elisterio steps away and waves a wobbly Morisho back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Matthew Morisho has been cut.
Christopher Elisterio is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Elisterio ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Morisho's jaw. Morisho's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Elisterio does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
