Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wm Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Parker Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker Michaels is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Parker Michaels!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tucker rushes Michaels and presses him up against the cage.

Michaels has Tucker pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Michaels pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Tucker tumbling to the mat - Michaels dives into Tucker's guard.

Tucker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Michaels gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Michaels drops back looking for a leg! Tucker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tucker manages to kick Michaels off! Michaels jumps back into Tucker's guard.

Tucker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tucker trying to keep a closed guard but Michaels is proving a slippery customer.
Michaels lands a couple of decent looking shots.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Michaels postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Michaels controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Tucker is trying to control the position but Michaels postures up.
Michaels postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Tucker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Michaels accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Tucker might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Michaels won't allow Tucker to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tucker wants to stand but Michaels is controlling the position.
Michaels's corner is telling him to maintain position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Tucker pulls Michaels in close to his closed guard and prevents Michaels from doing any damage or advancing position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

and Michaels counters with a single leg into guard. Tucker didn't expect that.
Michaels slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Michaels drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tucker manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Michaels has Tucker in his guard.

Tucker works over Michaels with some ground and pound from guard.

Michaels is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Tucker rolls with it to try and escape but Michaels cranks on the arm and Tucker is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
