PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Riley Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ludwig Manres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marshall comes to the cage accompanied by I Shot the Sheriff by Eric Clapton. The crowd seem to be enjoying Manres's choice of entrance music: Aqualung - Jethro Tull. Ludwig Manres has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Riley Marshall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 32 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ludwig Manres!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marshall drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Marshall's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

I've got Manres winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
