Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamil Burczynski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kelly might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jedi Mind Tricks / Retaliation . George Kelly had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, George Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Kamil Burczynski!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Nice uppercut there from Burczynski.
Burczynski throws an off balance right hand
and Kelly counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Burczynski misses with a right hand
and Kelly connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Kelly scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Burczynski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Burczynski gets full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kelly controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Burczynski looking to control.

Burczynski throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kelly uses it to pass to side control.
Burczynski regains half guard.

Burczynski regains full guard. Nicely done.
Kelly trying to control but Burczynski is working from the bottom.
Burczynski is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kelly wants to control but Burczynski is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Burczynski throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Burczynski is nestled in close to Kelly, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Burczynski is trying to control. Kelly wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Burczynski is trying to work for a kimura but Kelly is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burczynski passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kelly!

Burczynski goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kelly turns into him and now he's in Burczynski's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kelly wants to control from the top but Burczynski keeps moving.

Burczynski wants to sweep here but Kelly controlling him for the moment.
Burczynski not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Burczynski is on top in guard.

Burczynski is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Burczynski throws a strike but Kelly rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Burczynski is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Burczynski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Kelly postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Burczynski is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kelly, into his guard.

Kelly is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Burczynski rolls with it to try and escape but Kelly cranks on the arm and Burczynski is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). George Kelly!
An out of breath and clearly excited George Kelly thanked Perkele! for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
