Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jospeh Clay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobo Clown!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Clown.

Clay throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Clay shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Clown has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Clay is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Clay jumps guard and drags Clown to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Clown wants to control from the top but Clay keeps moving.

Clown trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Clay manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Clown is on top in guard.

Clown wants to pass the guard but Clay is keeping the position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Clown won't allow Clay to get back to his feet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Clay throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Clown shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Clay's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clay is looking to stand up but Clown isn't so interested in that idea.
Clown trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Clay wants to get back to his feet but Clown is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Clown wants to control from the top but Clay keeps moving.
Clown slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Clown throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Clay works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Clown drives through with a takedown into Clay's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Clay preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Clown works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Clay could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Clown is working for a kimura but Clay is defending it quite comfortably.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Clay is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Clown's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Clown's back!
Clown is really stuck here.

Clay is trying to stick to Clown's back but Clown is turning into Clay. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Clay's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Clown.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bobo Clown dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Clay is concentrating on defense, preventing Clown from advancing position.
Clown working over Clay with some ground and pound. Clay looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Clay wants to get back to his feet.
Clay wants to improve his position but Clown is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Clown is looking for a kimura but Clay is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Clown to get the leverage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clown thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Clay's head.

Clay trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Clay is trying desperately to improve position.
Clown breaks from Clay's wrist control and lands an elbow.


It looks like Jospeh Clay has been cut.

Clown looking for a guillotine from mount but Clay is having none of it.

Clown goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Clay is on top in guard.

Clown is looking for a triangle here but Clay uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Clay is looking to stand up but Clown isn't so interested in that idea.
Bobo Clown has got the better of the ground game so far.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Clown controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
The fight stays on the outside here - Clown looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Clay feinted with a counter takedown.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Clay on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Clown shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Clay manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Bobo Clown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Clown throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Clay holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Clown pulls guard.

Clay stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Clown shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Clay is trying to defend but Clown finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Clay is trying to hold Clown in close to prevent damage but Clown has managed to pass into half guard.

Clay is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Clown pulls his head out easily.

Clay is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Clown is aware though and is defending well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Clown seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Clay has recovered full guard.

Clay tries to roll over but Clown keeps him under control.

Clown wants to control but Clay is keeping him busy.
Clay is pressing down on Clown's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Clown throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Clay's head.
Clay walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Clown checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Clown looking to score a takedown here. Clay is defending well but Clown drives through and ends up in Clay's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Clown looking to sit in guard and control but Clay gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Clown throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Clown tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Clay stops Clown from standing up.
Clown trying to control the position.
Clay is looking to stand up but Clown won't let him.
Clay missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Clay might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Clown is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Jospeh Clay has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bobo Clown is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Clay throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Clown works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
