Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Demetrius Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grigor Huefs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Demetrius Cote has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Huefs manages to pull guard.
Cote in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Cote throws an elbow that misses. Huefs uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cote's guard. Nice move by Huefs!
Huefs's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Cote is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Huefs is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Cote looking to hit a scissor sweep but Huefs is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cote is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Cote will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Cote throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Cote misses with the combination.
Huefs looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Huefs closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Huefs uses his free foot to push down on Cote's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cote.

Cote is desperately trying to improve his position but Huefs has a good base and remains in mount.
