Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Liquer!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grossman fails to land the takedown.
Grossman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Liquer as he jumps to the side.
Grossman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Liquer's waist but Liquer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Grossman off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Grossman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Grossman looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Liquer!
Liquer tries to buck Grossman off but Grossman is having none of it.

Grossman looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Liquer tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Grossman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Liquer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Liquer is looking for a sweep.

Grossman is trying to get an arm triangle but Liquer is defending well.

Grossman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Grossman has an Americana. Liquer didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Grossman is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Grossman hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

During a confident post fight interview, David Grossman thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
John Liquer was interviewed post fight and said 'probably should retire!'.
