The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Targaryen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Haddock rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Targaryen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Targaryen tries to advance to mount but Haddock denies him.
Targaryen cracks Haddock with a big right hand but Haddock just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Haddock pushes Targaryen away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Targaryen gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Targaryen has hold of Haddock's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Haddock tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Targaryen cranks the arm and Haddock screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Haddock, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
