The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Pomkai. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Pomkai.
No joy there for Pomkai, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Van Keulen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pomkai.
Pomkai takes a kick to the side of the head.
Van Keulen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pomkai paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pomkai darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Pomkai misses the target.
Van Keulen is looking to clinch but Pomkai is avoiding it.
Van Keulen lands a nice looking kick to the body. Pomkai takes a step back to recover.
Pomkai leaves Van Keulen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Van Keulen throws a sloppy head kick and Pomkai moves out of range easily.
Van Keulen misses with a wild combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pomkai circles away from the clinch attempt
and Pomkai counters with a big right hand! Oh Van Keulen is in trouble here! Pomkai follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
