The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahma connects with a right hand. KaSolomon shakes it off.
It looks like Shaka KaSolomon has been cut.
Ahma lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that KaSolomon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Ahma scores with a hook.
Ahma's jab looks to have found its range, popping KaSolomon under the eye.
Ahma lands with a good body shot.
Ahma throws a body punch but KaSolomon moves out of range.
KaSolomon uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ahma.

Ahma throws a hook but KaSolomon blocks it.
Ahma throws a big shot that misses.
Ahma sets himself, and KaSolomon steps forward looking for the clinch! Ahma avoids it this time.

and KaSolomon counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ahma won't be happy with that.

Ahma is looking to reverse the position.
KaSolomon is looking to take a break and control but Ahma is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

KaSolomon looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Ahma stuck in half guard on the bottom here.
KaSolomon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
KaSolomon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ahma has escaped the position, nice work there.
KaSolomon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ahma is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

KaSolomon is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ahma is trying to escape and KaSolomon transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ahma is forced to tap! Nice work there by KaSolomon! Very nice indeed!
