Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edogawa Conan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rustam Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conan comes into the arena with Detective Conan Theme blaring out of the sound system. Kersikov has chosen ЦельРазгроl as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edogawa Conan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rustam Kersikov!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Conan throws a lazy right hand but Kersikov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

We've been hearing reports that Conan has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Conan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kersikov tries to avoid it but Conan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kersikov to the ground. Kersikov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round but Edogawa Conan did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Edogawa Conan.
I think Conan has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
