Khan comes to the cage accompanied by Bad Seed - Watch It Burn. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Khan misses with a body kick.
Kirkland jabs Khan right on the nose. Khan blinks but takes it well.
Khan has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Highland Brawl Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Khan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kirkland scores with a jab. Khan acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Khan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Khan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Khan throws a nice looking combination but Kirkland bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kirkland avoids the head kick by Khan.
Kirkland dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kirkland chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Khan can pounce on him.
Khan lands a head kick!

It looks like Troy Kirkland has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khan lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Kirkland moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Khan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Khan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Khan is rocked!
Khan gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Kirkland gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Khan is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
