Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benny Lawlor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Temoodschin Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lawlor comes to the cage accompanied by I Have A Dream. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Temoodschin Khan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Benny Lawlor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Temoodschin Khan!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Khan takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Lawlor blocks a head kick by Khan.
Khan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lawlor digs a good body shot into Khan's ribs.
Benny Lawlor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khan throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Benny Lawlor has been cut.
Lawlor lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Lawlor has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Khan.
Lawlor tests Khan's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Khan walks into a jab.
Khan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Khan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Lawlor swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Khan replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Lawlor blocks it well.
Khan misses with a head kick.
Benny Lawlor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Khan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lawlor's head.
Khan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Lawlor looks to land a combination but Khan avoids it well.
Lawlor has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Khan fails with the takedown
and Lawlor counters with a stiff right hand.
Lawlor with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Donk. Lawlor catches Khan right on the button with a cross.
Khan takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Khan circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Lawlor drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Khan follows Lawlor to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Temoodschin Khan!
A very excited looking Temoodschin Khan made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Benny Lawlor spoke after the fight, saying 'best 2 of 3?'.
