Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamie Wilkins!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkins blocks a head kick by Walker.
Wilkins shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Walker sprawls well. Walker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wilkins gets slowly back to his feet.
Walker slaps away a takedown attempt from Wilkins, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Walker shoots in and bounces Wilkins off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Walker postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wilkins is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Walker throws a big elbow that misses.
Wilkins thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Walker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wilkins manages to get himself to full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wilkins is on top in guard.


Wilkins postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Walker is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wilkins, into his guard.

Wilkins wants to stand and escape but Walker is having none of it.
Walker working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Wilkins's head.

Wilkins escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Walker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Walker won't allow Wilkins to get back to his feet.
Walker postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Walker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Wilkins drops back, looking for a kneebar! Walker looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Walker looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Walker!
