Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gerbert Bryant!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade forces Bryant back against the cage and clinches.
Bryant drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Wade gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bryant tries for a takedown but Wade manages to get underhooks.
Bryant wants to take the fight to the mat but Wade manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Samson Wade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gerbert Bryant.
Bryant wants to get back to striking at distance but Wade won't allow it.
Bryant gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Wade has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bryant is working away from the top position though.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bryant working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Wade tries to roll over but Bryant keeps him under control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bryant seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Wade moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Bryant swings widly with a right hand
and Wade decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bryant's guard.
Bryant pulls Wade in to control the position.
Bryant looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wade is one step ahead there.
Wade connects with a couple of short punches.
Wade is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Wade throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bryant works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Wade postures up and lands a big shot to Bryant's brow.

Bryant has momentary wrist control but Wade slips an elbow through the middle.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Bryant throws a looping overhand right but Wade ducks down to avoid it.
Wade moves into range and clinches up with Bryant.
Bryant has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Wade after a bit of a struggle.
Bryant has Wade pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wade manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Wade misses with a punch to the body.
Bryant is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Wade swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Wade is pressed up against the cage. Bryant has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wade down to the mat. Wade avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Wade throws a leg kick that is checked
and Wade takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wade shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bryant as he avoids it easily.
Wade tries to clinch but Bryant moves out of range.

Wade not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Wade is looking to cinch up a triangle. Bryant throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Wade's body to avoid the submission. Wade has instead reached around Bryant's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Wade arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Samson Wade!
Samson Wade gave a mention to Spartan Nutrition in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
In defeat, Gerbert Bryant stepped up to the mic, saying 'Good fight, but now my wife's probably gonna cuckold me with my opponent, and man that's gonna suck'.
