Rearden comes into the arena with Irigy Hónaljmirigy - Rúgj Chuck Norris (Chuck Norris parody by Hungarians) blaring out of the sound system. Kenner has chosen ''Death Wish'' by Jadakiss feat. Lil Wayne as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as DeAngelo Kenner enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, DeAngelo Kenner!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rearden throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Rearden drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kenner struggling a bit here.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kenner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kenner postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rearden is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kenner, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rearden got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kenner has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rearden has managed to get both his arms back between Kenner's legs - danger averted.

Kenner escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rearden gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rearden chips away with some ground and pound.

Kenner is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Kenner is looking to cinch up a triangle. Rearden throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kenner's body to avoid the submission. Kenner has instead reached around Rearden's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kenner arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). DeAngelo Kenner!
