Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edmundo Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Finch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andy Finch looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Edmundo Mack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Finch!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finch tries for a takedown but Mack sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mack attempts a counter takedown but Finch avoids it well and moves away.

Finch fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mack, pushing him back against the cage.
Finch looking for a takedown.
Mack tries to score a body lock takedown but Finch shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Finch gets underhooks to prevent Mack's takedown attempt.
Finch creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Mack's defenses.

Finch jumps guard.

Mack landing some decent shots from guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Finch not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Mack throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Mack would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Finch lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Mack wants to stand up but Finch is controlling him.
Mack wants to sweep but no luck.
Mack has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mack keeping moving, preventing Finch from controlling successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Finch instigates a clinch.
Mack on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Finch's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mack shoots in but Finch avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edmundo Mack. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mack tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Finch shoots for a double leg takedown but Mack sprawls well. He's pushed Finch's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Finch or perhaps it was just good defense by Mack, which made it look bad.
Finch looks winded!
Finch rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mack moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Finch fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mack tries to close the distance and clinch but Finch swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Finch swats away the attempt to clinch by Mack.
Finch fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mack has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Mack closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Finch to the mat! Finch manages to get full guard.
Finch has a closed guard, preventing Mack from standing up.
Mack working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mack trying to stand up but can't free himself from Finch's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mack chips away with some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Finch throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Mack stops Finch from standing up.
Finch throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mack missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Mack distracts Finch with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andy Finch dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Mack is looking to clinch but Finch is avoiding it.

Finch clinches.

Finch breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Finch has taken the fight to the clinch.

Finch pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Finch wants to clinch up but Mack keeps it at a distance.
Mack jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Finch shoots for a takedown but Mack saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mack throws a counter high kick but Finch was just alert enough to avoid it.

Finch clinches.
Finch tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mack just stands there and leans against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Finch pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Finch is breathing heavily.
Mack tries to clinch but Finch moves out of range.

Mack gets tackled into the cage by Finch. Finch maintains the clinch.
Finch tries for a takedown but Mack manages to get underhooks.
Edmundo Mack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Finch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mack is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Finch to keep the fight standing.

Finch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mack tries to clinch there but Finch circles away.
Finch changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mack tries to avoid it but Finch manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mack to the ground. Mack escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
It looked like Mack wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Finch fails to land the takedown.
An attempted straight right counter from Mack misses the target.

Mack gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Mack pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Finch keeps the fight on the outside.
Finch doesn't manage to clinch there - Mack circles away.

Finch circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mack shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Finch defends it nicely.
Mack tries to clinch but Finch is having none of it.
Finch throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Andy Finch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mack tries to clinch up but Finch circles away and keeps his distance.
Finch throws a series of punches but Mack moves out of range.
Mack doesn't manage to clinch there - Finch circles away.

Mack drives through and clinches with Finch against the cage.
Finch tries a body shot but Mack blocks it.
Finch is looking to control Mack's arms but Mack gets an underhook and turns him. Now Finch has his back to the cage.

Finch wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Mack tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Finch smiles and moves away.
Mack tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Finch with a lazy takedown attempt
and Mack makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Finch tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mack swivels and escapes.
Mack feinted with a counter takedown.
Mack tries to close the distance and clinch up but Finch swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Finch tries a head kick but it misses.
Mack avoids the head kick by Finch.
Andy Finch seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mack looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mack doesn't manage to clinch there - Finch circles away.

Mack darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Finch pushes Mack off and gets back to his feet.
Finch fails with an attempt to clinch.
Finch tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mack paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Finch drives through and clinches with Mack against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andy Finch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Mack's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Mack gets tackled into the cage by Finch. Finch maintains the clinch.

Andy Finch is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mack stuffs the takedown.
Finch shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mack but Mack pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Finch tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mack manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Finch pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Finch takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Mack manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Finch manages to get himself to full guard.
Mack postures up in Finch's guard and throws a big left but Finch blocks it.

Mack is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Edmundo Mack overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mack looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Finch puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Mack displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Finch.

It looked like Mack was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Andy Finch is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
