Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eva Contonio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Simeon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Simeon!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ben Watson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Contonio lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like James Simeon has been cut.
Contonio defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Simeon.
Simeon shoots in for a takedown but Contonio shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Contonio throws a quick inside leg kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Contonio darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Contonio takes a jab right on the kisser.
Contonio scores with a head kick. Simeon tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Contonio dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Contonio cracks Simeon with a right hand to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Contonio moves into the clinch.
Contonio lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

A frustrated look appears on Simeon's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Simeon tries for a takedown but Contonio manages to get underhooks.
Eva Contonio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Simeon.

Contonio lands with a left to the head.
Contonio throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Simeons head.
Simeon is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Contonio to keep the fight standing.
Contonio working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Contonio lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Simeon drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Simeon tries to pull guard but Contonio won't allow it.
Contonio scores with a nice hook to the head.

Simeon is rocked!
Contonio unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Simeon! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Contonio is unloading with more strikes now! Simeon drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
