Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Bremner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bremner is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Superbeast by Rob Zombie. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Bill Bremner enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stephen Campbell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bill Bremner!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bremner gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Bremner throws a body kick that misses.
Campbell misses with a body shot.
Bremner lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

and Campbell counters with a shoot takedown. Bremner fights it but they end up in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Campbell sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bremner's guard.

Campbell is looking for a kimura but Bremner is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Campbell to get the leverage.

Bremner wants to improve his position but Campbell is controlling well.

Campbell is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Campbell takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Bill Bremner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bremner takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Bremner looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Campbell takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Campbell swings for the body but Bremner moves out of range.

Campbell fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bremner sprawls well initially but Campbell persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Campbell looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bremner with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Campbell content to control rather than advance.
Campbell slips a nice elbow through Bremner's hands, connecting with Bremner's forehead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nice uppercut lands for Bremner. That snapped Campbell's head back.
Campbell looks to score with a jab to the body but Bremner is just out of range.

Bremner fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Campbell has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Campbell stalks Bremner and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bremner's face. Bremner staggers backwards, shaken.

Campbell walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Campbell comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Campbell takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A punch lands to the side of Bremner 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Nice defenses there by Bremner.
Campbell moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Bremner just misses with a punch to the body.
Campbell misses the shot to the body.
The crowd cheers as Campbell lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bremner doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Campbell has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Campbell lands a really nice looking cross but Bremner seems unphased.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Campbell is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Campbell, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
