A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nickthaniel Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Rage!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rage manages to avoid it.
A head kick by Rage misses
and Diaz counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rage has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Diaz finds it's way round the side to connect with Rage's head.
Ryan Rage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A left and a right from Diaz both land. Nice combination.
Rage tries a head kick but it misses.
Rage displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Diaz.
Rage throws a counter combo.
Rage shoots in for a double leg but Diaz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Diaz throws a shot to the body.
Diaz dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rage misses with the combination.
Rage on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rage is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Diaz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rage.
Diaz was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Diaz connects with a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rage has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Diaz finds it's way round the side to connect with Rage's head.
Rage shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Diaz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rage gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Rage missing with a left hand there. Diaz was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
It looked like Diaz was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Rage.
Diaz thuds his right hand into Rage's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Diaz bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rage's head.
Diaz scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Rage takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Rage looks winded!
Diaz scores with a jab. Rage acknowledges it with a nod of the head.


Rage is rocked!
Diaz lands with a right and another and another! Rage is in big trouble! Diaz lands again and this time it's lights out for Rage! A quality knockout there for Diaz.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Nickthaniel Diaz!
Nickthaniel Diaz got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
