The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gumption thuds his shin into the meat of Carter's side.
Carter looks winded!
Gumption throws a sloppy head kick and Carter moves out of range easily.
Both fighters circling a little - Gumption finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Gumption fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Carter takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Gumption scores with a jab to the jaw.

It looks like Rayjay Carter has been cut.
Gumption connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Gumption lands a big head kick that sends Carter tumbling to the mat! Gumption takes a step backwards and waves Carter back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Carter gets tackled into the cage by Gumption. Gumption maintains the clinch.

Gumption pushes Carter against the cage. Gumption is working some dirty boxing. Gumption pushes off with a quick right hook! Carter goes down! Carter tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Gumption moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bubba Gumption!
Bubba Gumption spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
