Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cliff Rigano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gaspard Wasp!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rigano lands a nice shot to the body.
Rigano throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Rigano has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Russian Fighting Community Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Wasp takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Rigano lands with a slapping head kick.
Wasp misses with an uppercut.
Wasp misses with a head kick.
Rigano pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wasp tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wasp feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rigano's calf.
A jab from Rigano does it's job there.
Rigano dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wasp. That did some damage!

Wasp closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rigano blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Wasp manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Wasp is looking to stand up but Rigano isn't so interested in that idea.

Rigano keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wasp's head.
Wasp trying to keep a closed guard but Rigano is proving a slippery customer.

Our spies down at at Bobby B's Gem inform us that Wasp has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Wasp really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Wasp flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Rigano blocks Wasp's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Wasp is looking to get to half guard.
Rigano pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Rigano can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wasp is looking to escape.

Wasp is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Rigano lands a couple of good shots and Wasp has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Wasp is in bad spot here.
Rigano lands punches and elbows.
Rigano is raining down hard shots and and Wasp has had enough - he's tapped out due to the strikes!
