The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz misses with a lunging right hand
and Anderson counters by clinching up.
Anderson lands an uppercut.
Anderson lands a body shot.
Anderson throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Diaz tries to pull guard but Anderson holds him up against the cage and eventually Diaz drops back down to his feet.

Diaz is rocked!
Anderson gets through Diaz's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Oh Diaz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Anderson lands a big right hand that drops Diaz! The killer instinct kicks in and Anderson finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Anderson!

Craig Anderson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
