The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryu listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Conan fails in his attempt to clinch.
Conan misses with the combination.
Conan shoots in looking for a takedown. Ryu tries to sprawl out of it but Conan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ryu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Conan tries to clinch up but Ryu circles away and keeps his distance.
Conan misses with a takedown attempt - Ryu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Ryu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ryu works over Conan's head and body with a nice combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

As Ryu tries to get set, Conan tries to push him back and clinch up but Ryu manages to avoid the attempt.

Conan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Ryu. No joy for Conan on that attempt.

Ryu cracks Conan with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Conan looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ryu finish him?
