Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brutus Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kowalski comes to the cage accompanied by Pantera - Fucking Hostile. Dan Ross will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brutus Kowalski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dan Ross!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski just misses with a punch to the body.
Ross looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Ross connects with a right hand. Kowalski shakes it off.
Kowalski wants to land a leg kick but Ross is out of range.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kowalski, right into the meat.
A telegraphed right hand from Kowalski misses the target.
Kowalski throws a leg kick that is checked
and Ross makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Ross shoots in for a takedown but Kowalski shows good takedown defense.
Kowalski throws a nice looking combination but Ross bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kowalski tries to clinch up
and Ross counters with a lovely shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ross is looking to take a break and control but Kowalski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kowalski tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ross wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Kowalski's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ross connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kowalski scrambles back to his feet.

Ross sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kowalski fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ross, pushing him back against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Kowalski scores with a nice short uppercut.
Ross is working for takedown but Kowalski is calmly controlling the position for now.
Kowalski digs a right hand into Ross's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Ross's gas tank.
Kowalski makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Kowalski lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kowalski stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Ross is breathing heavily.
Ross tries to throw a body punch but Kowalski avoids it by throwing Ross back against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Kowalski lands a big right hand that drops Ross! The killer instinct kicks in and Kowalski finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Kowalski!

Brutus Kowalski decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
