Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eliseo Delgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gera Emelianko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delgado blocks a head kick by Emelianko.
Emelianko looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Emelianko tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Delgado.
Emelianko prevents Delgado from standing back up.
Emelianko is trying to control the action in half guard but Delgado is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Emelianko connects with a nice short shot to Delgado's temple.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Delgado gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Emelianko to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Delgado pushes Emelianko off and gets back to his feet.
Emelianko looks to land a combination but Delgado avoids it well.

Delgado gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Delgado really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Emelianko looking to sit in guard and control but Delgado gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Delgado drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Emelianko dives on top into guard.
Emelianko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Delgado. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Emelianko chips away with some ground and pound.
Emelianko is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Delgado holds on and takes a little breather.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gera Emelianko dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Emelianko misses with a few strikes there.
Emelianko stalks Delgado and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Delgado's face. Delgado staggers backwards, shaken.
Emelianko tries a low kick but Delgado avoids it.
Delgado tries to counter with a takedown but Emelianko is quick to defend against it.
Emelianko throws a right and a left that both miss.
Emelianko misses with a hook. Delgado ducked under it nicely.
A combination from Emelianko does no damage.
Emelianko looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Emelianko misses with a series of wild punches.
Delgado tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Emelianko manages to circle out of the way.
Emelianko has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Emelianko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Delgado.
Delgado went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Emelianko closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Emelianko lands in his opponent's guard.

Delgado pulls Emelianko in close to his closed guard and prevents Emelianko from doing any damage or advancing position.
Gera Emelianko has got the better of the ground game so far.
Delgado bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Emelianko's guard.
Emelianko working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Delgado has passed into half guard!
Emelianko is defending against the submission attempts here by Delgado.
Emelianko pushes Delgado off looking to stand but Delgado dives back in and keeps control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Emelianko gets to his feet and stands over Delgado, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Delgado felt that one! Emelianko unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Delgado from any more punishment!
