These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meat misses with a combination
letting Daghammar counter with a right hand.
Daghammar misses the shot to the body.
Meat tries to bum rush Daghammar with a series of wild strikes but Daghammar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Meat rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Daghammar moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A big left from Meat misses.
Meat tries to move into range but Daghammar moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Daghammar avoids the head kick by Meat.
Meat looks to land a combination but Daghammar avoids it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daghammar dodges the punch combination from Meat.
Meat takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Meat throws a big shot that misses.
Fresh Meat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Meat misses with a jab to the body
enabling Daghammar to counter with a crisp jab.

Daghammar sends Meat crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Daghammar is motioning to the referee to let Meat up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Meat is rocked!
Meat misses with a looping left.
Meat misses with a lunging right hand
and Daghammar scores with a counter punch that sends Meat to the canvas! Daghammar smells blood - he's punishing Meat with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Meat has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
