Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Jose De Sucre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anakoni Kai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Sucre kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Iced Earth - Plagues of Babylon. Kai comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Firestarter kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from De Sucre misses the target.
Kai looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
De Sucre throws a lazy body kick
and Kai counters with an inside leg kick.
Kai misses with a body shot.
De Sucre misses with a straight left.
De Sucre throws a nice head kick!
De Sucre connects with a jab.
Kai lands a nice looking kick to the body. De Sucre takes a step back to recover.
De Sucre's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kai under the eye.
Kai walks into a jab.
Antonio Jose De Sucre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kai swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

De Sucre lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kai walks into a left hand.
De Sucre throws the left hand but Kai avoids the punch easily.
De Sucre looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
De Sucre finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
De Sucre throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kai doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Kai misses with a body shot.
De Sucre looks to land a combination. Kai sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
De Sucre fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kai is out of range.
Kai follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
De Sucre throws a head kick but Kai moves out of range.
De Sucre throws a head kick that misses.
Kai steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
De Sucre misses with an uppercut
and Kai counters with a lovely straight right hand!
De Sucre throws a big shot that misses.
Kai tries to score with a low kick but De Sucre moves his leg out of the way.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A kick lands to the mid section there for Kai.
Kai feints and then cracks De Sucre's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow De Sucre down.
Kai takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A solid leg kick lands there for De Sucre.
De Sucre misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kai throws out a counter right but De Sucre avoids it with no problem.
Kai throws a body kick that misses
and De Sucre counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Kai is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kai keeps De Sucre at a distance using the push kick.
De Sucre is breathing heavily.
De Sucre misses with a combination
and Kai makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. De Sucre really felt that one!
Kai throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent De Sucre stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nice uppercut lands for Kai. That snapped De Sucre's head back.
Kai lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
De Sucre doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kai connects with a body shot.
A shot to the liver by Kai. Beautiful body shot.
Kai fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. De Sucre looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A head kick misses from Kai.
Kai throws a jab when De Sucre was well out of range.
Kai digs a good hook to De Sucre's body.
Kai dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on De Sucre. That did some damage!
Kai moves out of range of the strikes.
Kai appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Kai ducks under a wild hook from De Sucre.
Kai misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from De Sucre.
De Sucre keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kai lands with a kick to the temple. De Sucre shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Antonio Jose De Sucre has been cut.

Kai tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A jab from De Sucre misses.
De Sucre checks the leg kick nicely there.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! De Sucre crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kai - the referee stops the clock and De Sucre gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kai. De Sucre manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
De Sucre throws a jab when Kai was well out of range.
Kai jabs De Sucre to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kai lands a big head kick that sends De Sucre tumbling to the mat! Kai takes a step backwards and waves De Sucre back to his feet - he wants the finish!
De Sucre is rocked!
De Sucre falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kai counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Oh De Sucre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kai cracks a nice hook into De Sucre's ribs.
De Sucre switches off momentarily and Kai cracks him with a monster right hand! De Sucre topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Kai dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Kai!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Anakoni Kai!
After winning the bout, Anakoni Kai thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
