Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fabian Hoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Hartlock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoi comes to the cage accompanied by Fehu - Wardruna. Hartlock has chosen Shoot To Thrill by AC/DC as his entrance music. Brett Hartlock has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoi throws a leg kick but Hartlock sees it coming and moves out of range.
Hoi misses the shot to the body.
Hoi lands a slapping body shot.
A left lands for Hoi.
Hoi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hartlock pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hoi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hartlock cracks Hoi with a right hand to the side of the head.
Hartlock throws a wild body kick that Hoi sees coming a mile off.
Hartlock looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

and Hartlock counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hartlock.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hartlock is looking to work some ground and pound but Hoi has wrist control.
Hoi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hoi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hartlock is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Hoi defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Hartlock thows a strike but Hoi uses the opportunity to reverse the position! Great move by Hoi as he ends up in Hartlock 's guard!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hoi wants to control from the top but Hartlock keeps moving.
Hartlock is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hoi has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Hartlock is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hartlock drags the fight down to the ground.
Hoi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hartlock has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hoi has managed to get both his arms back between Hartlock's legs - danger averted.
Hartlock has control of Hoi's left arm, preventing Hoi from doing any damage.
Hoi throws an elbow that misses. Hartlock uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hoi's guard. Nice move by Hartlock!

That was a close round but I would say that Fabian Hoi will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hartlock throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hoi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hartlock is in Hoi's guard.

Hoi has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Hartlock bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hoi's guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hoi holds on and takes a little breather.

A little jabbing left from Hartlock on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hoi wants to slow Hartlock down by chopping away at his legs.
Hoi just misses with a punch to the body.
Hoi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hartlock tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hartlock lands with a slapping head kick.
Hartlock throws the kick towards the body but Hoi avoids it.

Fabian Hoi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brett Hartlock.
Hoi is pressed up against the cage. Hartlock has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hoi down to the mat. Hoi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hartlock takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Hoi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hoi digs a good hook to Hartlock's body.

Hartlock doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hoi counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hoi fakes the leg kick and cracks Hartlock in the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hartlock tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hoi defends well and Hartlock ends up having to push Hoi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hoi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hartlock has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Hoi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
