The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rynn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Lodbrok moves away from the strike by Rynn.
Lodbrok throws out a counter right but Rynn avoids it with no problem.
We've been informed that Lodbrok has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Nice jab there from Lodbrok.
The crowd cheers as Rynn lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lodbrok doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Ivar Lodbrok has been cut.

Lodbrok connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rynn momentarily.
Mikaiah Rynn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lodbrok looks for the body kick but Rynn saw that one coming.
Lodbrok seems to have recovered his senses.

Rynn does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Lodbrok drops Rynn with a beautiful combination! Rynn stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lodbrok is looking for the KO!

It looks like Mikaiah Rynn has been cut.
Rynn has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lodbrok.
Oh Rynn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A slow jab from Rynn misses its intended target.
Rynn throws a hook to the side of Lodbrok's head but Lodbrok sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rynn is holding his hands too far apart here. Lodbrok throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Rynn is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

After the fight, Ivar Lodbrok was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
