The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Lincoln there.
Lincoln throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Kowalski counters with an outside leg kick.
Lincoln fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kowalski looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lincoln rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kowalski counters with a nice low kick that buckles Lincoln's knee momentarily.
Lincoln has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lincoln swings widly with a right hand

and Kowalski holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kowalski lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Abroham Lincoln has been cut.
I was talking to Kowalski's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Kowalski is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Lincoln looks winded!
Kowalski putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Lincoln in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Lincoln takes an elbow to the temple.

Kowalski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lincoln throws a leg kick that is checked
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Lincoln thows a left - swing and a miss!
As Lincoln backs away, Kowalski returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Kowalski closes the distance and clinches.
Kowalski scores with a nice hook to the head.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Kowalski.

Kowalski lands a good knee to the midsection. Lincoln won't want to take too many of those.
Kowalski lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Kowalski lands an elbow that stopped Lincoln in his tracks for a moment.
Kowalski controlling the position using the Thai clinch, unloads with a massive knee! Boom! He's out cold and slumps to the floor against the cage! I can't wait to see the slow motion replay of that one!
