Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Master Wong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anton Pavlovich!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong fails with the takedown
and Pavlovich counters with a stiff right hand.
Wong slips under a jab from Pavlovich.
Master Wong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wong misses with a left hand
and Pavlovich connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wong will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pavlovich is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Wong with a body shot.
Wong shoots in for a double leg but Pavlovich sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A little jabbing left from Pavlovich on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Master Wong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pavlovich lands a jab.
Wong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Wong avoids the body shot from Pavlovich.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wong shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pavlovich manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pavlovich pulls Wong in close to his closed guard and prevents Wong from doing any damage or advancing position.

Wong postures up in Pavlovich's guard and throws a big left but Pavlovich blocks it.

Pavlovich manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
I was talking to Wong's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
A short body shot lands from Pavlovich as the two fighters clinch.
Wong wants a takedown but no success here.
Pavlovich misses with a hook from the clinch.

Pavlovich throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Pavlovich lands with an uppercut that bounces Wong off the cage and back into range.
Anton Pavlovich is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Wong closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pavlovich did well to prevent Wong getting side control.

Pavlovich has one foot on Wong's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Pavlovich throws out a counter right but Wong avoids it with no problem.

Pavlovich connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Wong momentarily.
Pavlovich has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Pavlovich throws a body shot but no joy.
Wong misses with a takedown
and Wong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.


Wong is rocked!
Pavlovich connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Wong out cold! This one is over in a flash!
