Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chuvalo throws a right hand that misses

and Cervantes holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Cervantes tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Cervantes keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Chuvalo's efforts to push away.
Chuvalo gets underhooks to prevent Cervantes's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Emil Cervantes. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Chuvalo tries to break free but Cervantes pushes him back against the cage.
Chuvalo has had enough of the clinch but Cervantes keeps him there for the moment.
Chuvalo wants to get back to striking at distance but Cervantes won't allow it.
Cervantes is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Chuvalo pulls him back up using the underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chuvalo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cervantes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chuvalo is fending him off so far but Cervantes persists. Nope, Chuvalo circles away and we're back to standing.
Chuvalo clobbers Cervantes with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Emil Cervantes has been cut.
No joy there for Chuvalo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cervantes tries to counter by clinching up but Chuvalo breaks away and moves out of range.
Chuvalo lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Cervantes can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Chuvalo and Cervantes drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Chuvalo.

A less than humble George Chuvalo misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
