Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tony Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sly Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by TNT by AC DC. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown closes this distance looking for a takedown but Guy circles away.
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Guy doesn't manage to clinch there - Brown circles away.

Brown shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Guy pinned against the cage. Guy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Brown fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Guy avoids it really well and circles away.

Brown closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Brown is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Guy looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Brown is keen to just control but Guy is a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Brown is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Guy is just riding it out for now. Brown eventually gives up the hold.

Brown is looking for a kimura but Guy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Brown to get the leverage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Brown has gone for a leg lock! Guy slips out almost immediately though and dives into Brown's guard.

Guy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Guy throws a nice inside leg kick.
Guy shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Brown eats them both and turns towards Guy to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Guy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brown.
Guy looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Brown lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Brown stalks Guy and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Guy's face. Guy staggers backwards, shaken.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Brown shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Guy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Guy manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sly Guy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Guy scores with a jab. Brown acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Guy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Brown half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

and Guy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Guy goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Brown closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Guy to the mat! Guy manages to get full guard.
Brown stays in close to Guy's body and controls the position.
Guy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brown is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Guy is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Guy has escaped and now he's on top!

Brown isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Guy stacks Brown on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Guy!

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Guy. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Brown tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Guy swivels and escapes.
Despite the aggression on Guy's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

I was talking to Brown's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Guy blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Brown misses with a short punch on the inside.
Guy's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Brown tests Guy's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Brown throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Guy's waist but Guy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brown off to one side.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Brown.
Guy's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Guy duly obliges.
Brown takes a kick to the side of the head.
Brown ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guy moves away.
Guy misses with a few strikes there.

Sly Guy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Guy winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After winning the bout, Sly Guy thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
