Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cedrick Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gugun Gusman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cedrick Montoya!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gugun Gusman!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jorge Garcia and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gusman scores with a hook to the body. Montoya takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Montoya shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gusman napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Montoya is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gusman has escaped the position, nice work there.
Gusman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Montoya. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Montoya tries for a kimura but Gusman is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gusman avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Montoya.
Montoya has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gusman bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gusman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Montoya is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Gusman.
Gusman swings for the body but Montoya moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gusman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Montoya moves away.
Montoya seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Gusman lands with a nice combination. Montoya backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Cedrick Montoya has been cut.
Good standup being displayed there by Gusman as he connects with a hook.
Montoya is rocked!
Gusman connects with a nice cross there... Montoya is looking wobbly and Gusman recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Montoya to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Gusman jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Gugun Gusman!
