The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaaka closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jeferson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Jeferson is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Vaaka is defending well.

Vaaka pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jeferson back to the cage. Vaaka follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Alex Jeferson has been cut.
Vaaka slaps away a takedown attempt from Jeferson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Vaaka takes the fight into the clinch.
Vaaka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jeferson.
Vaaka lands a big right hook! Jeferson looks hurt but is still standing! Vaaka lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Jeferson falls down and Vaaka dives in with a huge hammer fist! Jeferson's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Vaaka runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
