Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slayer throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Pick has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Pick throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Slayer jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Slayer shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Pick let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Pick tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Slayer was well out of range. Poor timing from Pick.

Pick fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Slayer, pushing him back against the cage.

Slayer does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Pick now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pick uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Slayer.
Pick thinks about the counter body kick.
Slayer sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Slayer closes the distance but Pick moves to the side
and Pick counters with a left to the body.
Pick takes a swing at Slayer's ribcage but misses.
Slayer appears to be looking for a big counter.
Slayer steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Pick. That one must have hurt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Pick cracks Slayer with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Pick throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Slayer was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Slayer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pick feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Slayers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Slayer tries to bum rush Pick with a series of wild strikes but Pick uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Slayer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pick throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Slayer sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Slayer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Pick lands a big head kick that sends Slayer tumbling to the mat! Pick takes a step backwards and waves Slayer back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Slayer throws a front kick aimed at Pick's knee but Pick avoids it well.
Pick now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Slayer will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Pick is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Pick tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Pick has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Pick lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Slayer backwards.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Pick in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Jeez, Frank Slayer's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Slayer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pick but Pick pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Oh Slayer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
