Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Agustin Carlson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lolo White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lolo White has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lolo White!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Carlson throwing a counter right hand but White manages to avoid it.
Carlson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Carlson tries to sprawl but White drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Carlson really is a fat lump.

White decides to stand and escape the position.

Carlson gets caught napping as White dives in and scores a takedown. Carlson manages to retain guard.
White wants to control from the top but Carlson keeps moving.
White makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
White throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Carlson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Carlson is striking off his back. White thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Carlson manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

White wants to pass the guard but Carlson is keeping the position.

White gets to his feet. Carlson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

White manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Carlson on his heels. He'll look to pass Carlson's guard now, I'm sure.

Carlson manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Carlson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by White after a bit of a struggle.
Carlson is trying to drag White to the mat but White just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Carlson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics White uses from the top position.

White has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Carlson regains guard immediately.

Carlson manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carlson jumps guard but White stands there with Carlson around his waist. Carlson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
White lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Carlson or not.
Carlson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

White's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
White throws a one two combo.
Crunch! White slams his shin into Carlson's torso.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

White takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

White shoots in and bounces Carlson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
White postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

White is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Carlson is just riding it out for now. White eventually gives up the hold.
White has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

No joy there for White, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lolo White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Carlson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around White's waist but White gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Carlson off to one side.
White drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Carlson defends it well.
Carlson dives in for a single leg takedown but White sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Carlson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Carlson enables White to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Carlson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Lolo White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

White bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

White stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Carlson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables White to keep the fight standing.

Carlson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

White closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - White lands in his opponent's guard.

Carlson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Carlson has momentary wrist control but White slips an elbow through the middle.
White is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
White chips away with some ground and pound.
White connects with a couple of short punches.

White decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Carlson blocks the body kick.
White has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.

White forces Carlson back against the cage and clinches.

White breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Carlson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
White lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Carlson dives in for a single leg takedown but White sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Agustin Carlson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
White digs a good hook to Carlson's body.

Lolo White comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well White has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
