The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cid throws a sloppy head kick and Yossarian moves out of range easily.
Yossarian now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Yossarian throws a shot from downtown. Cid moves away and avoids it.
As Yossarian looks to move away, Cid throws a big counter combo bu Yossarian just gets out of the way.
Cid blocks a jab.
Cid moves into the clinch.
Yossarian blocks an elbow strike from Cid.
Cid misses with a hook to the ribs.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Yossarian working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Xavier Cid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Yossarian counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
