The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barber avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Sanchez rushes Barber and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Barber escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Barber takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sanchez fails in his attempt to clinch.

Sanchez drops Barber with a beautiful combination! Barber stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Sanchez is looking for the KO!

Sanchez rushes Barber and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Sanchez just misses with a elbow thrown towards Barber's brow.

Sanchez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sanchez throws a series of punches but Barber avoids them all with ease.
Sanchez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Sanchez rushes Barber and presses him up against the cage.
Sanchez's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Barber is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sanchez is defending well.
Sanchez tries a knee to the head but Barber blocks it.
Barber jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sanchez walks away with a smile on his face. Barber gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gilbert Barber. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sanchez lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Barber is looking to close the distance but Sanchez sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Barber crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Barber is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
