Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Ronaldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antonio Ronaldo acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Lynch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Antonio Ronaldo!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronaldo misses with an uppercut
and Lynch counters with a good, hard body kick but Ronaldo shrugs it off.
Lynch gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ronaldo counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Lynch darts in looking for a takedown but Ronaldo gets double underhooks and turns Lynch into the cage.
Lynch pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ronaldo back to the cage. Lynch follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Ronaldo looks to score with a jab to the body but Lynch is just out of range.
Ronaldo's coach down at ELITE GYM 40CAP was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ronaldo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Ronaldo tries to keep at a distance but Lynch has taken the fight into the clinch.

Lynch takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.


It looks like Eric Lynch has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lynch displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ronaldo throws out the jab.
Lynch shoots for a double leg takedown but Ronaldo sprawls well. He's pushed Lynch's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ronaldo parries the strikes from Lynch easily there. Lynch is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ronaldo to escape.

Lynch throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ronaldo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Ronaldo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lynch.
Ronaldo is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Lynch looks to land a strike but Ronaldo avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lynch seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Ronaldo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lynch has picked Ronaldo up and slammed him! Ronaldo can't keep hold of the triangle and Lynch manages to pass to side control!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Lynch decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lynch is just content to waste time from the top position. Ronaldo takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Ronaldo wants to sweep but no luck.
Lynch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lynch drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ronaldo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ronaldo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ronaldo!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eric Lynch.
I think Lynch has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
