The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Balkan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Balkan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Balkan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Camacho stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hector Camacho is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Camacho shoots in and drives through. Balkan sprawls well.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jami Balkan.
Well Camacho has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
